Project Overview
Solid Hook was contracted to relocate a complete bread production line for a high-volume commercial bakery in Vaughan, Ontario. The scope included controlled removal and relocation of a large industrial tunnel oven, proofing systems, heavy-duty mixers, and supporting bakery equipment from an existing facility to a new production site.
The client operates under strict production demand and could not afford extended downtime. The entire relocation had to be completed within a single operational window while portions of the facility remained active.
Prior to execution, our team conducted a detailed site review at both locations. Floor conditions, access paths, door clearances, and disconnect sequencing were verified to ensure smooth removal and installation. Equipment components were safely isolated and prepared for transport in coordination with plant personnel.
On relocation day, Solid Hook deployed a large crew supported by four trucks to manage simultaneous removal, transport, and placement tasks. Equipment was rigged and moved through controlled travel paths while production staff remained active in designated areas of the facility.
At the new site, the oven, proofers, and mixers were carefully positioned according to layout specifications provided by the client’s engineering team. All equipment was placed safely and securely within the same day, allowing the client to proceed with reconnection and production restart without disruption to retail supply commitments.
